What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR & Employee Wellness Intern position at CHILDREN'S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA CARDIOLOGY?
Children’s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The HR and Employee Wellness internship will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource and Wellness departments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Majoring in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Wellness/Health Promotion or related discipline required.
- Experience studying employee wellness programs or public health.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement projects.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required, with ability to effectively communicate with different level managers.
- Ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
- Must possess a high level of confidentiality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with various administrative tasks and projects for the HR and Wellness departments.
- Assist with company employee wellness program to include annual challenges, employee engagement, employee requirements and incentives; provide input on design and structure of the program.
- Assist with wellness social media platforms; review and offer insights and suggestions towards corporate wellness.
- Learn about the administrative operations functions by gaining experience in departmental processes.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, efficiently utilizing financial resources, adhering to brand guidelines and ensuring timely delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality of personnel and department records.
- Perform other administrative projects and duties as assigned.
