The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We are excited to announce that we are opening a Children's Mental Health Clinic program in Ulster County, New York! This new level of service is an outpatient mental health clinic for children ages 5 to 21 and their families. We are currently seeking a dynamic Clinic Supervisor to provide oversight to our clinicians and administrative support professionals.
$2,000 hiring bonus to be paid out incrementally over the course of 1 year. Subject to tax withholdings and appropriate 403b deductions, contributions and payroll deductions.
Position Summary:
This position functions as a part of a multidisciplinary team, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Executive Director for Clinical Program Development. The Clinic Supervisor will provide oversight to the administrative support professionals and the Clinicians at the Children’s Mental Health Clinic practice. This includes weekly clinical supervision with one to six clinicians, managing caseload allocation and productivity of providers, training, and maintaining a small caseload providing ongoing individual and family therapy using evidenced based treatment modalities.
Schedule: Minimum 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with rotating on-call responsibilities
Location: 368 Broadway in Kingston, NY.

Qualifications
MINIMUM Qualifications:

Master of Social Work or related field

LCSW required
-
At least 3 years of supervisory experience working with children and families

Knowledge of Office of Mental Health regulations

Knowledge of Evidenced Based Practices (Motivational Interviewing, DBT, TF-CBT, CBT)

Valid NYS Driver License in good condition as determined by the Agency

Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD.
PREFERRED Qualifications:

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience with Medicaid/managed care and other types of client billings.

Experience working in the community and knowledge of community resources.
