What You Will Do:
- Strategic Planning and Vision: Support the development and execution of an HR strategy aligned with the organization's mission and goals. Leverage technology to enhance services, streamline processes, and optimize resources.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Drive recruitment to attract top talent, implement innovative sourcing strategies, and foster workforce diversity. Partner with leaders to promote a leadership culture that enhances retention, engagement, referrals, and internal net promoter scores.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisals, guiding managers and employees to align with organizational goals.
- Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to boost engagement, satisfaction, and morale. Implement retention initiatives and foster a diverse, inclusive workplace where employees feel valued.
- Compensation and Benefits: Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with industry standards and organizational goals. Promote CHS benefits participation and coordinate salary surveys.
- Workplace Policies: Develop and enforce HR policies that ensure compliance, fairness, and a positive work environment.
- Employee Relations: Address employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in a timely and effective manner. Foster open communication and positive employee relations.
- Labor Relations: Oversee labor relations activities, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws, agreements, regulatory licensing, and conducting investigations as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with leadership, providing mentorship, coaching, and advice on management, performance, and recognition. Prepare HR reports for management and the Board, coordinate with consultants and vendors, and engage in inter- and intra-agency functions.
- Budget Management: Develop and maintain the HR budget making informed investment decisions that support strategic goals and maximize value.

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field required.
- Master’s Degree in related field preferred
Experience:
- Seven years’ experience with exposure to all areas of Human Resources, preferably in nonprofit organizations or social services sectors required.
- Supervisor’s experience required.
Certification:
- SHRM-CP required.
- SHRM-SCP preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc. Extended PC viewing and keyboarding required. Extended periods of sedentary work required.
