(e.g. physical / mental limitations, current physiological status regarding the testing procedure).Reviews procedure request provided by ordering physician, and complies with all standard lab protocols.Documents history in the technologist report.Procedures : Performs procedures according to Laboratory standards and protocols.Implements alternative methods or adjusts recordings to obtain optimal recording of clinical EEG, AEEG data.Prepares and adjusts recording equipment as needed.Safety : Takes appropriate actions during patient emergency situations and ensures patient safety, including electrical equipment safety in the Labs at all times.Administration : Accurately and thoroughly Completes documents, forms, and reports.Supplies and Equipment : Troubleshoots recording equipment and coordinates repairs as needed.Department Operations : Attend technical staff meetings and morning huddles, providing professional input for the development of procedures and protocols.Continuing Education : Participates in conferences and technical meetings on a local, regional, and national basis.The EEG Technologist must have the following : 1 year of experience as an EEG TechnologistHigh School diploma or GEDBoston Children’s Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, child care and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
