The Behavioral Health Specialist is a critical role in the psychiatric care of patients. This position also serves as a system-wide resource, providing direct patient care and safety including supervision and management of children and adolescents.
The Clinical Resource Team allocates centralized staffing resources by floating across the organization, to address staffing variances, and provide clinical expertise to safeguard quality patient care

Annual Salary Range : $19.93 to $29.00 / Hourly Salary
Hours per week : Part time and Full time positions are available. Please list your preferences in the questions below.
Shift : There are a variety of shifts available for this role. Please identify your preferences in the questions within the application.
Please note : The Behavioral Health Specialist may begin their shift in one unit and based on a change in census and acuity be reallocated to a different unit to meet operational needs. However, it is also possible for the Behavioral Health Specialist to experience extended periods of time in one department to offset long-term absences through the Months Program

Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor's degree with a minor in psychology or related field
- Equivalency : Professional relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
- Certification(s) : Healthcare Provider BLS / CPR certification
