Job Description / Summary : This position will oversee three key scopes of work : (1) direct and oversee the delivery of behavioral health services in the Benioff Children’s Hospitals Oakland Behavioral Health Division; (2) set the vision and manage the expansion of programs; and (3) identify, deliver, and support the implementation and training of best clinical practices and interventions for children, youth and their families who access behavioral health services through the behavioral health programs. Position Requirements : Minimum Education : Master’s degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology or social work. Minimum Experience : 3 years experience in providing clinical supervision for interns and trainees; and 3 years experience in coordinating a clinical program in Behavioral health. License Required : Active licensing status with the California Board of Psychology or California Board of Behavioral Sciences Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Outstanding oral and written communication skills, and experience in small and large group presentation / facilitation. An established record of excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and willingness to work as a member of a professional team. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and comfort working with data bases and online collaboration files sharing tools. Ability to drive or otherwise travel individually to site locations and clinical programs. Technical Knowledge : Possess strong clinical experience in working with BIPOC children, youth & families populations. Familiarity with EPSDT / MediCal service model & compliance requirements. Medical Staff Membership Required : If a licensed Psychologist, must apply for and be approved to hold the privilege for Psychologist as defined by UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland Medical Staff Office, and must remain in good standing in that category.Required to practice at UCSF BCH-Oakland Physical Requirements : Sit : Up to 6 hours / day Stand / Walk : Up to 6 hours Bend / Stoop : Up to 3 hours Reach : Up to 6 hours Rep Use of UE / Grasp : Up to 6 hrs Lift / Push / Pull : 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment This job requires the ability to hear alarms clients and / or instruction.
