Position Summary
This position is within our expanding specialty pharmacy located in Minneapolis. A typical day at Children's Specialty Pharmacy involves patient care delivered both via phone and in person. Responsibilities are divided between a retail setting and an office environment, with duties focusing on managing and documenting care for specialty patients each day.
The Pharmacy Specialty Technician assists registered pharmacists by supporting activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions. The technician is also responsible for collecting and inputting new and refill prescriptions as well as patient information. Proficiency in multi-tasking and performing repetitive tasks accurately is essential. Additionally, the Pharmacy Specialty Technician supports other pharmacy technicians by providing coverage when needed, delivering hands-on training, and mentoring in areas of expertise. This role requires the ability to identify and recommend improvements for process flow and address any deficiencies.
Schedule / Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM, no weekends.
