**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Professional to join our team at Children's International, LLC.
As a Medical Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing patient care in the office setting. Your primary duties will include:
- Meeting the communication needs of patients and their families;
- Providing care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of the Provider;
- Maintaining regulatory requirements, office policies, procedures, and standards;
- Performing quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision;
- Registering patients to the patient portal in EMR;
- Appropriate vital signs according to AAP guidelines (weight, height, temp, b/p, pulse, and head circumference, O2 stats);
- Updating patient medical, surgical, and family history in EMR at every visit;
- Keeping Laboratory supplies organized and clean, including equipment;
- Inventorizing and providing supplies needed to the Office Manager;
- Completing community care well-visit appointments; scheduling patients for appointments;
- Recording telephone messages in the EMR and the telephone message log.
