Seasonal Summer Camp Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an engaging and rewarding summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children. You will lead activities, provide guidance, and foster positive relationships with campers while ensuring their well-being throughout their time at camp.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational programs that align with camp themes.
• Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers.
• Provide behavior management support to help children navigate social interactions and resolve conflicts.
• Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members regarding camper needs and progress.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment.

Skills
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills:

• Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, childcare, or tutoring.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support children's social-emotional development.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.75 - $15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
