Join a collaborative environment of Early Childhood Professionals at Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC). CLC provides high quality programs for children birth through 5 throughout the City of Stamford complete with comprehensive services for the nearly thousand children served on a daily basis.
We are currently interviewing candidates for Full Time and Part Time Assistant Teacher positions at multiple locations. Required qualifications for these positions are exclusive to those who have earned:
Assistant Teacher – Preschool:
- Current CDA (Child Development Associate – Preschool or Infant Toddler Setting), and/or
- 12 credits specific to *Early Childhood Education, or
- CT 30 credit *Early Childhood Certificate
Experience in a Head Start or NAEYC Accredited program not required, but preferred. Hourly rate based on the amount of education and experience a candidate has.
Rate: $18.38 to $19.36
*Since CLC comprises of publicly funded programs, education verification is required in the form of certificate and/or transcripts. Unfortunately coursework in general education, elementary education, and/or secondary education cannot be considered.
