Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) – Stamford, CT
Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County’s (CLC) teachers enjoy a collaborative environment working with and being supported by other staff members including on-site health care providers, social and family service workers, a nutritional team, educational coordinators, and educational managers, to provide a safe, warm, nurturing, and challenging environment where children are free to explore, learn, and grow, while serving their families and the community.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Supervision of young children
- Maintaining a safe, healthy environment for the children
- Partnering and communicating with parents
- Documenting the children’s progress and accomplishments through assessments
- Collaborating with all co-workers
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
- Pass state and agency background checks
- Strong desire to work with young children and their families
- Team player
- CDA or working towards a CDA or coursework in Early Childhood preferred, if neither, a willingness to continue education in the field of Early Childhood.
Full Time positions must be able to work the full shift with 1/2 lunch break.
We have multiple openings available at multiple sites. 8-5pm, 8:30- 5pm, 9:30-5:30pm or 8am -4:30pm

Hourly Rate: $16.94/hr.
