Full Time Teacher Role for Reggio Emilia-Inspired Play Based Preschool
Children's Learning Cottage is currently hiring energetic and caring teachers to join our team working with children ages 2-5. We are a play-based, Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool focused on inquiry-based learning, where teachers will have the opportunity to guide young children through exploration, discovery and play.
As a teacher at CLC you will:
- Develop and execute weekly lesson plans focused on hands-on, play-based learning
- Lead small groups of children in active games, songs, arts & crafts and more
- Create an engaging classroom environment to spark curiosity and learning
- Observe and document children's development and progress
- Partner with parents through regular communication and conferences
Requirements:
- 2 years experience teaching preschool aged children
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories and best practices
- Creativity and enthusiasm working with young children
- Strong communication skills with parents and staff
