Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of children while having fun this summer? Children’s Lighthouse is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and energetic Summer Camp Teachers to lead our school-age summer program!
What You’ll Do:
As a Summer Camp Teacher, you’ll create an engaging, safe, and exciting summer experience for children ages 5–12. You’ll plan and implement daily activities, supervise indoor and outdoor play, lead field trips and in-house events, and ensure a fun-filled learning environment each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a structured summer camp curriculum with age-appropriate activities
- Supervise children during activities, meals, field trips, and transitions
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages respect and cooperation
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and team members
- Ensure safety and cleanliness of classrooms and play areas
- Promote social, emotional, and academic development through play and guided activities
Qualifications:
- Experience working with school-age children in a group setting (camps, classrooms, church groups, etc.)
- Energetic, dependable, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet minimum licensing requirements for childcare in Texas

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
