We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Requirements
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred; experience as a nanny or in daycare settings is a plus.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to manage diverse needs, including working with children with disabilities.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support children's social interactions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification if hired is required.
- A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
