Children's Mercy Fetal Health
The Special Care Delivery service at Children's Mercy is how we deliver many babies we have been following in the Fetal Health Center. More than 1,850 babies have been born here since the program started in 2011.
Utilizes nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age appropriate nursing care for perinatal patients. Assists with the shift supervision of nonprofessional personnel as necessary.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree required and 1-2 years experience
- At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
- One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
- RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
- Employees must obtain Licensed RN - Kansas or equivalent within 90 days
