Overview
Our mission in the ICU is to provide healing, comfort, and support to our patients and their families in times of critical need. This support is provided through two specialized ICUs : our 43 bed Pediatric ICU (PICU) and 24 bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).
PICU / CICU Unit Secretaries serve a receptionist for parents / guardians and visitors and perform a variety of clerical functions. They assist in the maintenance of a safe environment and promote efficiency of operations. PICU / CICU Unit Secretaries demonstrates commitment to maintaining and improving departmental / unit standards.

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.00 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work / Work from Home
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
