Position Summary
Responsible for the evaluation and provision of therapy services to the patient population identified by their specialty. Responsible for the coordination of care for these children between Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Rehab Services and their care providers in the specialty area. Provides care within a multidisciplinary team including outpatient, inpatient and community settings. Provides education and support to the child and family throughout treatment. Promotes evidence based practice, incorporating into clinical practice and research effort. Participates and leads research process in the area of specialty including data collection, documentation, and assessment of standards of care.

License/Certification:
- MN State licensure in Physical Therapy
- BLS Certification
Education:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years total experience, 2 years in pediatrics, and minimum 2 years with primary focus in specialty area of interest.
- Experience with teaching or instruction of professionals.
- Experience in program development.
- Research experience, with previous leadership role as principal investigator (preferred) or co-investigator.
Skills:
- Advanced skills and training in the area of specialty.
- Ability to communicate learning's and effectively teach others.
- Skills in case load management and coordination.
- Demonstration of leadership skills in achieving all department metrics.
- Critical thinking abilities.
- Effective change management: models accountability by adapting to change.
