Position Summary Scope of Value Analysis program is supplies, equipment and services. Position is responsible for driving/facilitating select Value Analysis teams to drive organizational product and service selection. Example activities include: research products and/or services, obtain samples, set up structured trials, drive evaluation effort (compares patient safety, product quality, and total cost), work with vendors, drive issue resolution internally as well as with manufacturers and vendors, facilitate meetings, train team leads and team members, implementation and education, post implementation follow-up, documentation and communication. Advocates for product and service standardization and unwarranted clinical variation. Drives team to decision using a structured, objective approach.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business or equivalent or 5 years equivalent experience in value analysis, contract management and/or supply chain project management. Clinical healthcare experience a plus.
