What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Cleaner position at Children's Montessori Academy?
We are looking for a Cleaner to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Laundry (onsite washer/dryer; fold and put away)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out light and heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Integrity
- High school degree
- All employees must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
