The Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) is a great opportunity for someone who is goal oriented, curious, and passionate to find new opportunities for growth in a high achieving team.  This position supports the Strategic Advancement and Marketing Department and reports to the Assistant Director of Advancement, Corporate Foundations and Relations.  After reading the requirements for this position and you do not meet them all, please apply anyway! The Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations is a full-time exempt position with an annualized salary range of $50,000-$54,000 depending on experience. You must be able to commute to the Museum in downtown Atlanta for this will be a hybrid position after completing the required probation period.

Primary Role:

Support the Strategic Advancement and Marketing Department and work with the Assistant Director of Advancement, Corporate Foundations and Relations in the following: fulfilling annual corporate, foundation, and government fundraising goals in support of annual operations, special projects, restricted programs, capital campaigns, and events through grant writing, reporting, and stewardship. Manages processes and systems including portfolio maintenance, data reporting, gift acknowledgement, and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of donors and prospects and secure grants and gifts through the development of compelling proposals, letters of inquiries, and applications
  • Develop and manage a calendar of deadlines for proposals, reports, and other communications with current and prospective donors, ensuring adherence to all application and reporting deadlines
  • Support stewardship by leading post-award grant reporting process, ensuring timely acknowledgement letters for awarded grants; assist in developing strategies to grow funder relationships
  • With the Assistant Director of Advancement, Corporate and Foundation Relations, build and maintain the Museum’s pipeline of proposals and prospects, including researching and identifying funding opportunities, identifying new and prospective funders, creating prospect reports, determining eligibility
  • Work with CMA leaders to support the development of enhanced grant proposals and reports and collaboratively manage the collection of data and fulfilment of grant requirements across departments
  • Provide internal reporting on fundraising activities and progress against goals
  • Maintain accurate records in Blackbaud’s Financial Edge NXT and Altru programs
  • Collaborate and actively engage with team members, fostering open communication and contributing to a positive and productive team environment
  • Planning, coordination, and facilitation for internal and external meetings
  • Perform other duties that support corporate, foundation, and government prospects and fundraising initiatives of the Strategic Advancement and Marketing department.

  • Develop and maintain best practices in donor relations
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • CRM software proficient, Blackbaud preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated success with nonprofit and grant related fundraising
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Participation in professional seminars and or continuing education that directly relates to job requirements
  • Knowledge of the Atlanta philanthropic community
  • Familiarity with Foundation Directory Online

Salary : $50,000 - $54,000
