Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry – St. George
The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is looking for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner to help keep our museum clean and welcoming for visitors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a second job or extra hours in the evening.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 2 hours per day (12 hours per week)
- Flexible Hours: Shifts must be after 4:00 PM
- Location: St. George
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize museum exhibits, play areas, and common spaces
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed
- Wipe down surfaces, windows, and high-touch areas
- Take out trash and restock cleaning supplies
- Ensure restrooms and visitor areas remain clean and stocked
- Assist with occasional deep cleaning tasks
Qualifications:
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and hardworking
- Prior cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Background check required before employment
