Job Description - Perinatal Behavioral Associate (230001S9)DescriptionWe are looking for a clinician with a Washington DC LGSW and a passion for Perinatal mental health and wellbeing. The Perinatal Behavioral Health Associate will join a team of amazing perinatal specialized clinicians in the quickly growing DC Mother-Baby Wellness program. This individual will provide behavioral health screening and appropriate responses, including behavioral health treatment interventions to pregnant and postpartum patients. The Perinatal Behavioral Health Associate will identify and prioritize clinical and psychosocial goals, problem solve as needed to ensure follow through on needed responses by multidisciplinary team, ensure optimal patient coordination, and excellent collaboration between teams and partner organizations with a focus on patient experience and outcomes. Perinatal mental health experience required.Under supervision of a licensed independent clinician, the Perinatal Behavioral Health Associate provides behavioral health screening and appropriate response including therapeutic interventions to pregnant and postpartum patients while working towards their LICSW. The Associate collaborates with all involved teams and support services to ensure that patient and family needs are met. Identifies and prioritizes clinical and psychosocial goals and problem solves to ensure follow through on needed responses by multidisciplinary team. Ensures optimal outpatient coordination, and excellent collaboration between teams and partner organizations with a focus on patient experience and outcomes. The Perinatal Behavioral Health Associate also provides support and guidance to partner organizations.QualificationsMinimum EducationMasters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or similar discipline.
