Description
The Food Production Associate I will produce, portion and label cold food including but not limited to sandwiches, salads, desserts, condiments for patient, cafeteria, and catering. Will complete assigned food pre-preparation needs for production.

Lifting 50 lbs. Maximum, frequently lifting of 25 lbs.

Functional Accountabilities
Culinary/Productivity
- Prepare cold food according to standardized recipes and production sheet needs, including but not limited to portion control, garnish and presentation.
- Assist with hot food pre-preparation as needed.
- Maintain appropriate records of food temperatures, production and usage.
- Maintain and ensure food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment throughout shift according to the standards of the department, hospital and regulatory agencies.
- Utilize HACCP process during all aspects of food production.
- Perform cleaning assignments as assigned.
- Communicate to Management all food quality and availability issues, equipment status, customer and staffing issues.
- Communicate to management unresolved customer service issues within 24 hours.
- Complete quality control documentation including but not limited to chill time & temperature and preparation time and temperatures.
- Adhere to all department and hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional image by adhering to department uniform guidelines.
- Regularly adhere to department schedules.
