Surgical Care Unit Is a 31-bed Surgical/trauma Unit, With Cardio/respiratory Monitoring Capability For Each Bed. The Unit Specializes In The Delivery Of Family Centered Nursing Care For Patients With Surgical Conditions Including Any Orthopedic Conditions From Infancy Through Adolescence. Significant Subgroups Of Patients Include But Are Not Limited
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Minimum Work Experience
2 years Nursing experience. (Required)
1 year Recent pediatric experience in a comparable setting. (Required)
Required Skills/Knowledge
The Shift Coordinator, will successfully complete the hospital and nursing orientation at CNMC.
Required Licenses And Certifications
Registered Nurse in District of Columbia .

- Participate in community activities.

- Assess and modify skill mix and staffing levels using manager or clinical coordinator for complex issues.
- Function as a resource in planning patient discharge and all clinical issues.
