Prepare, cook, store and inventory food for patients, cafeteria, and catering as directed in retail and patient services. Perform serving duties in retail and patient services as assigned.

- Prepare food according to standardized recipes and production sheet needs to include portion control, garnishing and presentation.
- Continue to improve cooking skills through flexibility in assignments.
- Store leftovers and prep food using proper labeling and within timeframes.
- Inventory food items as assigned.
- Maintain appropriate records of food temperatures, production, waste and usage.
- Maintain and ensure food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment throughout shift according to the standards of the department, hospital and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate to Management all food quality and availability issues, equipment status, customer and staffing issues.
- Speak up when team members appear to exhibit unsafe behavior or performance
- Continuously validate and verify information needed for decision making or documentation
- Stop in the face of uncertainty and takes time to resolve the situation
