Essential Duties And Responsibilities
CNHC’s believes in work life balance for all employees. This is an in-office position, Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm averaging forty (40) hours per week. Working hours may vary based on business needs.
Travel
Travel in and outside of Circuit 13 is required.
Training
All employees must complete fifteen (15) hours of on-line or classroom Training on an annual basis. If the employee is a Certified Child Welfare Professional, Training hours must total twenty (20) annually.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, A.A. degree preferred; a minimum of three (3) years of previous administrative/secretarial experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills And Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Proficiency in drafting and editing documents, emails, and reports utilizing Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to review documents for consistency and completeness.

Language Skills
The candidate must demonstrate strong proficiency in English, including excellent reading comprehension, writing, and editing abilities. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus, particularly if it enhances the ability to support diverse populations involved in the adoption process.
Mathematical Skills
The candidate should possess basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with accuracy. They should be capable of working with percentages, fractions, and decimals as necessary for data entry, report preparation, or document verification. Strong analytical skills to assess numerical data for consistency and accuracy are an asset.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to be proactive, as well as handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this position are generally moderate. The role may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and using a computer. Occasional lifting of office supplies, files, or materials up to 25 pounds may be required. Work Enviroment
This is an in-office-based position focused on administrative work, where the noise level may be moderate. This role may involve occasional travel among agency locations, extended periods of computer work, and frequent interactions across multiple departments. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Participate in the quality improvement process
- Adherence of all data collection into automated systems including FSFN
- Maintain computer tracking systems, including Excel databases as they pertain to the Adoption’s Unit
- General administrative duties to include filing, scanning, copying, redacting and mailing for the Adoptions Unit
- Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls as needed.
- Schedules unit meetings, prepares agendas, records minutes and assists with coordinating staffings.
- Assists in the processing of expense reports and travel reimbursements, as well as office supply orders.
- Serves as a point-of-contact for computer and equipment issues within the Adoption Unit.
- Prepares routine correspondence as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned as special projects may be requested.
