Children’s Neurotherapy Services (CNS) has been serving Catawba, Caldwell, and surrounding counties since 1999. We provide Occupational, Physical, Speech Therapy, and Community Based Rehabilitative Services in our clinics, daycares, and home settings, working with children from birth to 21 years of age. Our clinic accepts most private insurances, Medicaid, and private pay. We offer a multidisciplinary approach to treating various neurological, orthopedic, and developmental disorders. CNS Clinic provides a playful and nurturing environment, encouraging children to explore and engage in multisensory experiences, while welcoming comments and suggestions from parents to best serve the needs of children.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Hickory, NC. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders in children. Day-to-day tasks include developing individualized therapy plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, collaborating with other therapists and healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy
- Experience in treating Dysphagia and Communication Disorders
- Knowledge of Language Disorders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in pediatric therapy is preferred
