- Job Summary
- Responsible for ordering, organizing, and stocking general Emergency Department supplies and equipment with minimal supervision. Maintains and troubleshoots PYXIS supply system. Receives supplies from the Loading Dock and Dietary and distributes received items to appropriate storage areas. Responsible for logging Facility repairs needed, contacting departments to complete repairs, and monitoring the process. Responsible for coordination of vendor visits and product evaluation. Knowledge of guidelines, policies and safety requirements detennined by relevant regulatory and standard setting agencies and organizations. Demonstrate excellent communication, supply management and organization skills.
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent. One year of college preferred.
- Experience
- Two years work experience in ED and/or Supply related area.
- Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Must have a current and valid Alabama driver's license.
- Must have completed certification in BLS
