- THIS POSITION IS TO RECRUIT AND LICENSE FOSTER CARE PARENTS.
SUMMARY
The Licensing and Recruitment Coordinator has primary responsibility for the recruitment, licensing, training and monitoring of foster parents and foster homes. This position recruits prospective foster parents and guides them through the process of foster home licensure. If and when the licensing process is completed, the Licensing and Recruitment Coordinator monitors the license and ensures the foster home remains in compliance with licensing standards. The Licensing and Recruitment Coordinator also ensures that all required licensing paperwork is completed and maintains licensing files in accordance with licensing requirements.
The Licensing and Recruitment Coordinator assists the Program Manager with intake needs. This position coordinates with the Residential Center to identify children eligible for the agency continuum and works with the Foster Care casework team to ensure a smooth transition. Additionally, this position may be used to provide temporary coverage as a Foster Care Case Manager, covering a small number of foster care cases on a short term basis when needed.
