What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Clinical Therapist Partial position at Children's Service Center?
Purpose of this position :
Provides professional therapeutic services, casework, and support to clients and oversight of therapeutic staff. Lead Therapist is supervised by Clinical Supervisor on a weekly basis with additional meetings as needed.
Responsibilities Include, but not limited to :
- Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices and methodology
- Knowledge of individual and group behavior in the interrelationships between social, economic, psychological and general physiological factors
- Knowledge of current social, economic and health problems and resources with emphasis upon factors relating to physical and mental health of all age groups
- Knowledge of the principles and methods of program interpretation and community organization
- Knowledge of best practice methodology in treatment of children, adolescents, and families. Must successfully complete Safe Crisis Management training both physical and cognitive tests on an annual basis

Qualifications :
Must have a Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related area of study from an accredited school of social work, counseling, or psychology if that is the degree held.
Licensed professional preferred, but not required.
Physical upon hire required
