What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Technician (BT) position at Children’s Specialized ABA?
We are hiring in-home BTs/RBTs.
- Hourly rate depends on education, experience with children, experience in the ABA field as BT/RBT, certification as a RBT, current confirmed BCBA student, etc.

What will you do as a Behavior Technician (BT)?
- Behavior Technician (RBT)s provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD
- Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans
- Conduct stimulus preference assessments
- Collect data
- Maintain client's program book
- Develop/create teaching materials
- Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)
- Discuss client's daily progress with parents/caretakers
- Work with BCBA to implement individualized goals and checklists
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients
- Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education
Requirements for Behavior Technician (BT)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children; ASD experience strongly preferred
- Reliability- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
- Access to reliable transportation
- To complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children) you must be able to: Stand and move for at least 75% of the day; lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds
