We are looking to hire part time in-home Behavior Technicians (BT) in Monmouth County, NJ! We are looking to fill after school hours: 3:00pm-8:00pm, M-F.

What Will your Day Look Like as a Behavior Technician (BT)?
- Teachindividuals with autism to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while helping reduce challenging behaviors and improve overall functioning
- Work one on one with kiddos in-home with potential for EI center work in the future
- Collectdata and write session notes to demonstrate each client’s progress toward his/her/their goals
- Work collaboratively with your BCBA supervisor
What Will you Do as a Behavior Technician (BT)?
- Provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD
- Follow and implement care plan goals designed by BCBAs including reinforcement procedures, teaching procedures, behavior reduction procedures, discrete trial teaching, etc.
- Establishes & maintains therapeutic relationship
- Accurately collect, record data based on client behavior; complete session notes
- Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)
- Comply with all BACB and company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines
Requirements for Behavior Technician (BT):
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children; ASD experience strongly preferred
- Reliability- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
- Must have reliable transportation
- To complete the physical demands of the job (frequent sitting and standing, sitting on and getting up from the floor, kneeling, bending, and running with children) you must be able to:Stand and move forat least75% of the day; lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds
