What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coding Profee Supervisor position at Children's Specialty Group?
Large pediatric multispecialty group looking for a certified coder AHIMA/AAPC with 2 years-experience coding from medical documentation, able to abstract ICD-10,CPT and E/M. 1-3 years’ experience supervising staff and executing projects. Supervisor will assist manager in hiring, onboarding, and training Emergency Dept coding coders. Create workflows, training, quality reviews, and charge reconciliation. Responsible for training and oversight of ED Coding team to translate healthcare services into standardized medical codes used for billing purposes. . Keying charges into PMIS (Epic) and working through appropriate coding rules for clean claim submission. Work with auditors on denial management and documentation needs
This position is full remote after on site training with occasional on site needs.
