Delivering innovative services to children with disabilities, we are seeking a dedicated Infant and Toddler Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. This exciting opportunity requires a licensed mental health professional who can empower caregivers to support the healthy development and well-being of young children.
The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in early childhood development, family systems, trauma-informed care, and culturally sensitive practice. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with early childhood educators, social workers, and other professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with caregivers to develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that promote healthy racial, cultural, gender, socio-economic, and disability identity.
- Develop strong relationships with caregivers and work collaboratively with community members and the ESIT team to meet family needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Mental health professional license in Washington state or ability to practice under supervision and obtain licensure.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Experience in infant mental health, psychotherapy, and attachment theory.
