Children's Therapy Place is a full-service outpatient pediatric therapy clinic. Our clinics provide speech and language services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, mental health counseling, and behavioral and developmental support through our developmental disabilities agency.
We are currently hiring a Receptionist to join us at our Meridian Clinic.
Our mission is to empower and support children and their families to live their best lives through our innovative therapy, educational programs, and collaborative multidisciplinary services.

Reports to: Administration Manager
The Receptionist will successfully execute their duties that include, but are not limited to:
Reception Duties
- Welcomes clients and visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone, answering or directing inquiries as needed.
- Protects clients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information, following all HIPAA requirements.
- Checks in clients, and notifies providers of their arrival.
- Ensures client files are complete and up-to-date.
- Manages Physician Orders by requesting new orders and maintaining existing ones.
- Collects payments at time of service, including deductibles, coinsurance, and copays; ensures checks and credit card payments are sent to the Accounting department, and cash payments are appropriately logged into petty cash.
- Assists in planning monthly activities for children at front desks across locations, as needed.
General Duties
- File, fax and shred confidential documents, as needed.
- Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized, throughout the day, as well as, ensuring all offices are neat at the end of the evening.
- Collect and distribute the mail.
- Willing to train future staff members.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask and communicate clearly with multiple departments.
- Maintains consistent and reliable attendance to support team operations and provide dependable service to clients.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office software to efficiently manage scheduling, documentation, and communication tasks.

Compensation: Starting $16 or DOE
