At Children's Wisconsin's surgery center, we're a place where giggles, teddy bears and bravery badges are part of our daily routine. We are looking for an Anesthesia Technician who's equal parts skilled professional and gentle soul.
This role performs a variety of functions to prepare and maintain equipment and supplies as needed by the Anesthesiologist.
High School diploma or Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or equivalent experience required.
Completion of an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology (A.A.S. degree) preferred and certification as an Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T) through the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians (ASATT) preferred.
Strongly prefer experienced Anesthesia Technicians.
CPR certification obtained within three months of hire - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
Requires ability to understand and identify medical equipment problems and apply technical knowledge in the set-up and calibration of medical equipment.
Hours may vary: Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm or 6:30am-3pm
