Job Summary: The Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) is responsible for developing and providing the vision, strategy, and operational business leadership for the organization’s information technology and digital transformation teams. One of the CDIO’s primary responsibilities will be to lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of information technology services and innovative digital tools/platforms aligned to our business goals and system strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
▪ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field is required
▪ Graduate degree in Business with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems is preferred

Job Summary: The Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) is responsible for developing and providing the vision, strategy, and operational business leadership for the organization’s information technology and digital transformation teams. One of the CDIO’s primary responsibilities will be to lead the evaluation, development, and implementation of information technology services and innovative digital tools/platforms aligned to our business goals and system strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master's degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Business, Information Technology, or other related fields.
- At least fifteen years of experience managing information systems within an organization, ideally in an integrated health system or academic medical center environment. Experience in a related health care environment will also be considered.
- A successful track record in the implementation of enterprise-wide systems is required.
- Proven digital and analytics expertise with the ability to develop and implement a digital and analytics roadmap to drive operational and strategic imperatives.
- Demonstrated experience optimizing Epic and co-developing products and applications to drive efficiency, experience and team member engagement across an integrated health system. Epic experience required.
- Progressively successful track record in healthcare professional relations, strategic planning, implementation of systems, hiring and team engagement.
- A demonstrated track record of possessing a clear understanding of healthcare initiatives and the ability to support them through timely, accurate access to data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to develop effective rapport with clinicians, entity leaders, and others involved with the management team to drive improvement and deployment.
- Demonstrated track record of success with the following leadership competencies: Business Insights, Strategic Mindset, Plans & Aligns, Ensures Accountability, Develops Talent, Manages Ambiguity and Courage.
▪ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field is required
▪ Graduate degree in Business with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems is preferred
Knowledge and Work Experience
- 10 years (greater preferred) of progressive health care administrative/leadership
- Extensive demonstrated success leading an IT department in a large not-for-profit/academic health system facility or corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience optimizing an electronic health record (Epic preferred) including co-developing products and applications to drive efficiency, experience and team member engagement
- Familiarity with complex hospital enterprise applications and experience addressing the unique security and confidentiality requirements of the healthcare environment
- Experience leading digital and analytics health technology transformation. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing a digital analytics roadmap to drive operational and strategic imperatives
- Knowledge of the laws and accreditation standards applicable to hospitals
- Knowledge of security best practices and regulations that focus on IT (HIPAA, FERPA, FISMA, PCI, MU/ACI and other regulatory compliance)
