A member of the Children’s Medical Group (CMG) leadership team and reporting leader for all Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in CMG. This role serves as the primary resource for recruitment and retention, scope of practice, utilization and collaborative practice models, credentialing, orientation, competency, practice evaluation, professional development, student placement, and compliance. In collaboration with Primary Care Leadership, Children’s Specialty Group APP Leadership and throughout the Children’s Wisconsin pediatric enterprise sets the strategic vision, practice standards, and workforce priorities for APPs in CMG. This leader is accountable for developing and sustaining a culture of advanced practice leadership, service, practice integration, collaboration, and clinical quality. This role reports to the President of CMG.

Minimum Job Requirements
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
- Nurse Practitioner: Wisconsin RN License. Wisconsin Advanced Practice Nursing Prescriber License. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification or Family Nurse Practitioner certification. AHA, BLS, DEA
- Physician Assistant: Wisconsin Physician Assistant License. Certification by NCCPA, AHA, BLS, DEA
- Advanced Practice Nurse: Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
- Experience practicing as an APP in a clinical setting for a minimum of 5 years
- At least one year of leadership or equivalent experience required
- Demonstrated leadership experience in projects, committees, and collaborative team environments
- Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision. Establishes a culture of engagement, respect, and diversity
- Ability to establish and foster relationships
- Ability to understand finances
- Program Development experience with regards to onboarding, mentorship, and precepting
