Location: Primarily remote/hybrid, Must be within commuting distance of Milwaukee to provide support.
What you will do:
Serves as an education consultant on application projects associated with the Children’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and other technologies that support patient care and Revenue Cycle operations. Facilitates training and supports Credentialed Trainer readiness to ensure providers, newly hired staff and incumbent staff are properly trained to use Children’s EHR. Duties include working on cross-functional project teams to analyze end-user performance support needs, and designing, developing and implementing solutions. Acts as a key contact and resource for providers and staff related to Health system-related operations, issues, and questions. Duties include supporting template development and usage, supporting online learning strategy and processes, active rounding and engagement with end-users, support for application implementation and optimization, and helping department leadership plan and execute training strategies for Children’s.
What you will need:
Epic certification in a minimum of one primary application. Epic Curriculum track and/or Epic Application track is required
Education
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field, IS, or education or equivalent experience.
Experience
Three years instructional design experience or equivalent operational experience related to EHR application. Previous program facilitation experience.
