- This position is located in Kenosha, WI. *
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Current Occupational Therapy license with the State of Wisconsin.
- Current Department of Public Instruction (DPI) license or have submitted application for DPI licensure by date of hire if working in the schools. Current NBCOT license.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Occupational therapy required.
- Current CPR certification – Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
- Prefer a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in the pediatric field of Occupational Therapy. Will accept new graduates.
- Knowledge of the principles of neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent growth and development and child/family responses to fear, illness, injury and hospitalization.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills to effectively communicate with patient, family and medical staff in a team environment.
- The ability to represent the organization and serve consumers in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the organization and its services.
