Minimum Job Requirements
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COT) required.
- Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology.
- At least (3) three years of ophthalmic experience, preferably in a medical setting.
- Experience in a leadership role preferred.
- Understanding of patient care in ophthalmology, in order to have obtained comprehensive knowledge of policies, procedures, equipment use, and regulations, as well as ability to organize.
- Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
- Participates in System activities to promote a positive image of Children’s or which support foundation goals.
