Part-Time Childcare Teacher (Morning Shift)

Description:

We are seeking additional dedicated and compassionate Childcare Workers to join our team at Children’s World Learning Center. As a Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in the development and well-being of children in our care. This position demands a nurturing individual who can create a safe and stimulating environment for students to explore and learn. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child development principles and be skilled in managing diverse groups of children.

Requirements:

Applicants must have the following or be willing to obtain the following:

• Qualification Letter from DCDEE or willing to obtain prior to employment
• Early Childhood Credentials (EDU 119) and/or a degree in related field of study and/ or verifiable years of work experience in a licensed childcare center.
• CPR/First Aid and SIDS certification or willing to obtain prior to employment
• "Preferred" age - 21 yrs or older

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities
• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Observe and assess individual child development and progress
• Work directly with children, carry out daily activities, and promote individual development for each child
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians throughout the year showing proven growth during the year.
• Provide support and assistance with daily routines and activities
• Maintain a clean and organized learning environment
• Flexible with a willingness to "shift gears" given how children are learning and growing in the classroom.

Schedule: M-F, 12:00pm-6:00pm
