What are the responsibilities and job description for the LCSW/LPC Therapist for Primary Care position at Children Service Center?
Purpose of this position:
The LCSW/LPC Therapist position provides services that include diagnostic bio-psycho social assessments, individual, group and family therapy, substance abuse screenings, trauma exposure screenings, domestic violence screenings, psychiatric evaluations, psychological evaluations, medication assessments and medication monitoring that fall under the Conyngham Primary Health Care Center. The Therapist will serve children, adolescents, families and adults who might have difficulty functioning in their community, home, or school.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Knowledge of professional casework principles, practices, and methodology
- Knowledge of individual and group dynamics
- Utilization of a variety of modalities and techniques to address the needs of each client and their family

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree plus Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Required
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) also acceptable
