What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Therapist position at Children Service Center?
Purpose of this position: Helping Overcome Psychosis Early- HOPE Program
The Mobile Therapist provides intensive therapeutic services to an adult, child and family in settings other than a provider agency or office. Settings include the consumer’s home. Other potential settings for the mobile therapist’s services include the school, church community center, a neighbor’s or extended family member’s home and other community settings.
The Mobile Therapist will work on a team to focus on clients who are experience psychosis. The intensity and complexity of FEP clients involves the client and family who are experiencing everyday adolescent issues along with understanding and managing psychosis. There are several weekly supervisions that are held.
**This is a Master's Required Position for Luzerne and Wyoming County Coverage.

Qualifications:
Graduate degree in psychology, social work, or related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
AND
Graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation; plus a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience with providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
Or
An equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services
Or
Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with a least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
Or
An equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluated by the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services
The Department will accept a general equivalency report from the listed evaluator agencies to verify a foreign degree or its equivalency and a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults.
