What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Behavioral Health Technician-ABA position at Children Service Center?
Purpose, Foundation and Sustainability of Position:

If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn, the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)-ABA (formerly known as a Therapeutic Staff Support-TSS) position is right for you. Join our team of employees as we continue to grow and experience the positivity of helping change young people’s lives by using the principles of ABA. You will be fully trained to work in a variety of settings such as: homes, schools, daycares, and other community locations in order to fulfill the child or adolescent needs. This position reports to the Behavior Consultant-ABA or the Behavior Analyst.
The Region of Service Areas Include:
- Northeast Region: Tunkhannock and surrounding Aea
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide one on one support to the child/adolescent by assisting them with learning strategies that are identified in their behavioral treatment plan
- Work with families and/or caregivers to support the generalization and maintenance of skills
- Participate in supervision, direct support, and caregiver training to support your growth and development

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
- Plus 40 hours of training for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (Children’s Service Center to provide paid Certificate Training if necessary)
Or
2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services preferred
