Skill and familiarity with Practice Management Systems
Skill and knowledge of maintaining an EHR system; NextGen knowledge preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient data according to HIPAA regulations
Ability to assist clinical operations with all medical records processes
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Education :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Experience :
One year related experience and / or training required Licenses and Certificates :
RHIT or RHIA certification preferred

Employees are required to maintain a current Department of Public Safety Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. Proof of a current fingerprint clearance card must be received within 90 days of employment. Appropriate protective measure should be readily available. Category 3 : Performs tasks that involve no exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue and Category 1 tasks are not a condition of employment.
