What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer position at Childrens Hospital of Birmingham?
Maintain smooth clinic operations by assisting physicians, facilitating patient-physician communication, and allowing full patient satisfaction during clinic visits. Prevent, evaluate and manage athletic-related injuries within the secondary school setting, while facilitating athlete-physician communication and promoting prompt and safe return to play situations.

- State of Alabama licensed Athletic Trainer or license eligible
- CPR / AED for the Professional Rescuer required
Graduation with a bachelors degree or higher from a CAATE-accredited, four-year institution
Certification or eligible for certification as NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer
