What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support Analyst position at Childrens Hospital of Birmingham?
Under minimal supervision, this position will provide the first level of technical support via phone and / or other means of communication. Duties will be to receive, document, track and resolve calls concerning peripheral and computer software and hardware issues during assigned shift. This position must display the ability to establish, maintain and improve customer relationships in a professional and courteous manner, while following set policies and procedures. This position must also effectively work with 2nd, and 3rd level support groups as needed for ticket resolution referring issues to Programmers, Analysts, Technical Support and / or Network Services as needed to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues.
- Education
- Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology, healthcare or business related field along with practical experience.
- Experience
- Licensures, Certifications, and / or Registries
Associates degree in Information technology related field and one (1) year experience. Two (2) to Three (3) years extensive experience in technical or healthcare related position along with some college may be accepted.
Experience with healthcare specific programs a plus.
