What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flexi Ultrasound Technologist South position at Childrens Hospital of Birmingham?
Provides ultrasonography health care services, applying sonic energy to demonstrate anatomical anatomy for medical diagnosis. Ultrasonic examinations are done at the request of a medical licensed practitioner and these exams are interpreted by a qualified licensed medical physician. Exercises professional judgement in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in one area within 2 years of hire date.
Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology and / or an approved Ultrasound school.
Pediatric ultrasound experience preferred.
If applicant has graduated from an approved school of Radiology Technology, ARRT certification preferred
