What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Supervisor position at Childrens Hospital of Birmingham?
Coordinates the intake and placement of all admissions and intra-unit transfers in accordance with the Children’s of Alabama House Coordinator Guidelines and Admission Policy. Collaborates with physician and nursing staff to prioritize admissions and intra-unit transfers based on medical needs. Communicates and collaborates with all departments as appropriate to maximize the efficiency of bed utilization and expedite the throughput process. Serves as a designated leadership representative accountable and responsible for coordinating the provision of efficient patient care operations on their assigned shifts.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
ADN required, BSN preferred. Two years experience at Children's of Alabama preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
BLS certification required. AL Nursing License required.
